[Experiencing the Strong China–UAE Economic Partnership Firsthand]

— Real Insights from Shenzhen on Middle East Expansion and Business Growth —

In mid-September, I revisited several companies in Shenzhen.
In addition to continued requests for recruitment support for entering the Japanese market, I also heard from multiple companies about their plans for new expansion into the Middle East, particularly the UAE, as well as growth strategies for their existing operations there.

What left a particularly strong impression was the strength of the government-level relationship between China and the UAE.
From the following developments, I sensed that the ties between the two countries are far stronger than I had imagined:

• Sovereign wealth funds have established offices in China and are expanding investments into Chinese companies
• Dubai’s free zones are setting up operations in China and actively promoting Chinese company attraction
• Direct flights to Dubai are now available not only from Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong, but also from Wuhan and Chongqing
• Surprisingly low airfares (e.g., Shenzhen → via Wuhan → Dubai = RMB 1,789 / approx. 933 AED!)

Another major development worth noting is the planned establishment of Tsinghua University’s Abu Dhabi campus.i
The expansion of one of China’s top universities into Abu Dhabi symbolizes a significant acceleration in academic and talent exchange between the two nations.
This goes beyond business—it reflects a deepening co-prosperity between the countries over the long term.

Through these developments—both on the infrastructure and policy levels—I have truly felt how the China–UAE relationship is evolving rapidly.

I am convinced that the demand for
“Cross-border education × recruitment × career support”
will continue to grow significantly between these two regions.
