After founding her company in Japan, Kaoru lived in China for seven years, then Dubai, and is now based in India.
She connects Japan and the world, end to end.
Over 20 years in recruitment, with career conversations with more than 6,000 professionals of many nationalities.
A strong track record of placing “business-building leaders,” from CEOs of major global companies to first Country Managers for startups entering Japan.
Before entering the recruitment industry, she spent five years as a fashion designer, working on the brand side.
After working at firms including Randstad, one of the world’s largest recruitment companies, she founded her Japan entity in 2018. In the same year, she moved to China (Shenzhen and Beijing) and contributed to cross-border talent support between Japan and China.
In Beijing, she spent four years teaching at an international high school and giving career education lectures at Peking University, contributing to international talent development.
In 2025, she founded her Dubai entity and relocated there. In April 2026, she moved to Mumbai, where she focuses on “executive search that connects Japan and the world.”
Cross-border capability is the ability to cross differences and build relationships.
